“Unique property in a special little village”

The best

Such a beautiful place to stay, lovely property and cute little village. The children loved the local Swimming pool and we enjoyed staying somewhere unique. The hosts who live upstairs in a separate property were really kind and friendly.

I have never stayed anywhere like that before. The place was very quaint with beautiful views.

To be improved

We spent ages trying to get the television to connect to the WiFi with no joy also unable to get the air con to work well.

“Superb stay and location: relaxing, quiet town and a beautiful large, welcoming apartment”

we LOVED staying at Al Colmenar in Chovar. It was such a relaxing destination in the middle of the mountains. The apartment was recently renovated with so much care and attention to detail. We loved the décor and the beds were very comfortable. It was spotless clean and has everything you might need. The house has character so does the town. Gonzalo and his wife are kind and generous and the people in town are also welcoming. We felt part of a small community. The town pool is clean and large and is open till 20:00 in the evening. Our kids loved it. The restaurant at the entrance of the town was excellent and so is the bakery in town. Please remember to bring cash, as the small stores in Chovar only accept cash.
