Nothing it was wonderful

We stayed with our two young boys here. Firstly the common areas (entrance and staircase) were difficult to manoeuvre with small kids or luggage. The stairs are very narrow. It is also quite old (which is to be expected of this type of traditional apartment) but it smells of smoke and has poor lighting too. The apartment itself on entering there was an overwhelming smell of air freshener which we felt was masking the smell of smoke in the entry way. Whilst is is certainly a traditional apartment there is too much furniture which makes the bedrooms quite small. The bathroom needs upgrading, the door doesn't close properly and I felt the hairdryer and shower were a little dangerous (hairdryer had wires coming from cable and shower was loose at the top meaning if you switched water from.one shower head to another it could fall and so dangerous for children). We love staying in valencia and chose this area specifically so knew we were compromising a little on accommodation but the accommodation just didn't meet our expectations at all.
