Atico TERRAZA DEL CARMEN

We were travelling with 2 kids. We let the owner know the exact time of our arrival. We waited 20 mins for him. It turned out he waited 10 mins in front of the building while we were in front of the apartment door (which I wrote him about). When we finally got in the apartment it turned out it's cold inside. The owner said it'd take 10 mins to make it warm. It didn't. We just wanted to eat sth and go to sleep as we were travelling for 12 hours. When I tried to heat the meal the electricity went out 3 or 4 times. I wrote about it to the owner and mentioned that it's still cold. He came again and said that it's warm and he left. It finally got warm after 1,5 days of constant heating with the AC. The next day after our arrival I noticed that it's dirty (dust on the floors). I wanted to vacuum, as my kids are always on the floor. But there was no vacuum cleaner! I kindly asked if there is a possibility to bring one, but got an answer that there are two brooms and I can sweep the entire place or order a cleaning service. A few other amenities were missing like for example cutting board. The electricity went out every time I tried to cook. I wrote about it all to the owner but got ignored. So I wrote to Booking cause I wasn't satisfied. I got a partial refund. I still had to sweep the place, but let's say I was satisfied. In the evening the owner came, saying that Booking told him our reservation is cancelled and if we want to stay the night we can pay him in cash. We called Booking twice to get to know what's going on and it turned out our reservation is still active and we can stay in the apartment. The whole situation was very unpleasant and stressful, as the owner was in the apartment for over on hour with us not speaking English. Fortunately our kids were already asleep, but the evening was ruined. Apart from the unpleasant situations with the owner the stay was ok.
