The location is quiet when compared to the rest of the island. Staff, food and hotel all good. Reception staff very helpful re local information on buses and taxis. Nice friendly atmosphere.

“I never usually leave reviews, but had to on this occasion. The hotel was amazing, not crowded, very friendly staff on the reception and the bar, the housekeepers were nice and accomodating to our needs. The hotel had an amazing view overlooking the sea, nice modern feel.to it whilst still retaining some character. We were self catering so cannot comment on the food, but from what we saw there was great selection and the quality of food looked decent. We chose to stay here as it was out of the way from the business of your usual Costa Adeje/Las Americas areas, but still close enough to get to your excursions via bus/taxi. The hotel was in very close proximity to plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Callao Salvaje and probably Tenerife if we tried! · Cons: The only thing lacking was air con in the rooms, although a fan was provided.”

“We stayed in a two-room apartment which was clean, nice and spacious. It had a kitchen with basic utensils to cook food or make breakfast. However, there is no oven or microwave oven. The swimming pool was big and not extremely busy (we visited mid May). There is a nice small pool for kids as well. There is a free volcanic sand beach a few minutes walk from the hotel, too. FYI, swimming pool/beach towels are not provided for free - 15€ per 2 people for the whole stay. The staff was very friendly! We were greeted very kindly. Hotel is next to many restaurants (though not all very good) and a grocery store. · Cons: The biggest disadvantage was that the apartment did not have A/C. Even though it was not extremely hot in the middle of May, it was warmer than what I am used to having in the apartment and I struggled to sleep. The room did have a fan, though, which helped a bit. As for a 4-star hotel I missed some extras, like a box of tissues or tea to be replenished daily (or at least a couple of times during an 8-night stay). If you haven't booked all inclusive or half-board, dinner is 35€/pp, which is above what we have spent dinning in the area around and it is really not worth the money.”

“Paradise above sea level”

The best

We were pleasantly surprised by the room. The room is very spacious, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The views from the windows are simply magical. The food is very tasty and varied, anyone can always find a dish to their taste. The hotel has a lot of entertainment for both adults and children. The staff is very friendly. This is a place you want to return to.

To be improved

Presence of mosquitoes. The child was bitten badly and had trouble sleeping

“Amazing location and great staff!”

The best

The view is amazing, the breakfast was good and varied. The location is clean and quiet with many places to eat around and there is also a supermarket nearby.

To be improved

My mistake that I did not properly check the bed type, but the twin bed we had was not the most comfortable as it was moving a lot left and right, however maybe they can to something about it :)
