Convenient to the bus station. AC was good. Bed was comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful to meet us to find the location.

To be improved

Room is quite small, bathroom is tiny as is shower given it's about maybe a 2.5ft x 2.5ft square, barely room for one normal size person to shower. No real room to place suitcases, especially with two of us, racks would have been helpful, perhaps under the TV on the wall. Location difficult to find because of construction. LOTS of stairs to get to the main level to the entrance of building so be prepared to carry your luggage up. I felt it was quite expensive given there are literally no other amenities (no restaurant or lobby area, these are literally an apartment building rooms that were converted to hotel it seems - you are specifically renting a room only). For the rate paid I don't think the value was there as it's further from the old town, but we were only there one night and needed easier access to bus station so it was great for that.

“Made wonderful San Sebastian even better.”
The best

The location is easy to get to and explore city from. We were an extended family in 4 rooms, all placed adjoining and with the foyer kitchenette immediately outside it was almost like we "owned" the floor though there were other rooms. The staff present from 08-18:00 were very helpful and as we arrived with a van full of luggage, she kindly stored our bags whilst we whiled away some time in the lovely large, leafy park with a picnic lunch only 100 metres away with food from the well stoked supermarket in the station also 100 metres. When we returned our suitcase had been ferried up to our rooms which (tiny gripe) would've taken multiple trips in the small and very slow lift. The square we overlooked is often hosting community events but the double glazing on the windows meant we could hear almost nothing. Even the very effective airconditioning was almost silent. It was a summer heatwave though San Sebastian was at least 10 degrees C cooler than just 50kms south over the mountains. I couldn't recommend it more highly for a group booking.

The TV wasn’t a smart one as mentioned in the amenities, it was a regular sat tv.
