Very nice hotel with perfect gastronomy and sea view (tower building), friendly staff, overall experience was excellent

We’ve just returned from a week at the Aubamar Hotel in Palma, which is a fantastic place to stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome, they were warm, professional, and always happy to help. The hotel itself is spotless, modern, and beautifully designed. Our room had a stunning sea view, and the spas were fabulous, we chose this hotel as the spas were included. The pool areas are relaxing with plenty of sunbeds, and the direct access to the beach is a huge bonus. Breakfast was lovely – good variety, from fresh pastries and fruit to cooked options and great coffee. We also loved the rooftop terrace, the atmosphere was perfect and ever so relaxing. A special mention for Rosanna, the Guest Experience Manager, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for us throughout our stay. She really made a difference to our holiday. Honestly, one of the best hotel experiences we've had. Thank you, Aubamar team – we'll definitely be back!

The staff were amazing especially Rafik, Ricky, Adrian and Esau. They could not do enough for you. The hotel is clean and the service around the pool area was prompt and professional. I would definitely stay here again…

Location could be off putting as this hotel is right off the strip known as German street in Arenal, which is VERY lively and very noisy. That said, once you turn into the hotel the noise falls away. There are 2 pools here, a smaller pool with daybeds and comfy mattresses and the larger pool that has be uncomfortable metal beds. (Not a good choice for a 5 star) Pool bar service is excellent and there is occasional live music at the pool. There was a saxo player when I was there which was lovely. Breakfast was buffet with option for fresh eggs. Rooms are ok, got the basics needed. My patio door did not lock but as I was on 4th floor it was not an issue for me. Also the mini bar was not fitted properly and a hole left in the wall! Enjoyable stay

We had to book last minute after a stressful AirBnB incident. So glad we did! The spa was included and worth it! We needed the bonus relaxation. Room was spacious and clean, always nice to have a balcony. Walkable to beach with many restaurants, area felt like Miami beach. So nice to have parking available, we were thrilled, loved it. Also, we had to leave early so they made a picnic breakfast for us to take, exceptional service.

Shockingly Bad Experience – Avoid This So-Called “5-Star” Hotel I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life at this establishment, which falsely claims to be a 5-star property. The staff and management were on the most rude and disrespectful, showing no regard for basic customer service. I discovered a contaminated mini-bar with a half-drunk beer bottle that had been re-capped — completely unacceptable and unhygienic. Requested the bar be restocked but was ignored. The room itself was in poor condition, with shoddy maintenance that’s far below what anyone would expect from a luxury hotel. Damaged rugs with iron burn( Which We were falsely accused of) despite the hotel records showing we did not have an Iron delivered to our room and my offer to allow staff inspect the room and our luggage to prove we did not bring an Iron. No turndown service, No Cleaning service on some days. I travelled alone with my daughter which left both of us feeling very vulnerable due to the public accusations and my daughter being left alone at lunch while I dealt with the GM. Management publicly accused me of causing damage I hadn’t done, in an aggressive and humiliating manner. It was an appalling display of unprofessional behaviour, which they justified the level of aggression towards me because they needed to "get to the truth". I was so distressed and traumatised. I raised a formal complaint by email, but senior management — including the CEO — have completely ignored it, not that I expected any respect from them. Clearly, the failings run from the top down. Advice to future guests: thoroughly inspect your room the moment you arrive and document everything, as this hotel seems more interested in blaming guests & trying to charge them than maintaining standards. Walls are made of paper so you hear your neighbours every move, smoke fills the bedrooms from the neighbouring balconies so you cant sit on or open your balcony door. Absolutely awful experience — I would never return and strongly advise others to stay elsewhere, you would be better off staying at home!!! Awful Place!!
