“Class Hotel”
We stayed in their sister hotel in Logrono and enjoyed that so much it was a no brainer to pick this hotel. Fabulously comfortable rooms. Very quiet. Centrally situated and great value for money.
“Excellent Hotel in the Historic Core of Segovia”
Located on a narrow, winding street in the center of Segovia is this lovely hotel set inside a former monastery. The renovation of all the spaces is beautiful, the entire hotel is positively gleaming, from the white marble floors to the light colored interior stone walls. It is very modern and historic at the same time. Our room was a beautiful, large suite with a huge balcony overlooking the countryside outside Segovia. The hotel is very well located for exploring the historic core of Segovia on foot-especially the Cathedral and the Castle- and is only a 10-15 minute walk down to the stunning aqueduct. The hotel has indoor parking seemingly in the same complex, several levels below it and it is important to follow the driving directions provided by the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
“Gorgeous, top-notch, historical hotel”
What an incredible property! This was one of our favorite stays we have ever had anywhere. This gorgeous and historical building used to be a convent, and the hospitality here is unmatched. The staff went out of their way to provide an amazing experience, and the spa is incredible too. Don’t miss this place to stay in Segovia!
“Nice location”
I gave this hotel a high rating because some of the rooms are fabulous with brick walls and wood beams in the ceiling and fantastic views of the surrounding area. This is a renovated convent. Ask for a room on the first floor like 301 or one that has what I described. My sister had this room and it was great. I unfortunately did not get that type of room, even though we paid the same rate. Mine was an ordinary, spacious hotel room with a limited view and a weird bathroom layout. The mattress was comfortable, and they had a good buffet breakfast. Reasonably close to go to the main square, but it's about a half mile walk from the aquaducts.
“Absolutely Splendid!”
The hotel is truly splendid and more importantly the parking garage is easy to navigate! It can be a little confusing getting around as it is multiple levels in various parts of the hotel and the double bank of elevators don’t go to the same floors, but once you get your bearings all is well. We were only there for one night but I’m fairly certain we’ll be visiting Segovia again and we will be staying at Aurea Convento Capuchinos for sure. Plaza Mayor is literally a two minute walk out the front door and from there you can get to everything. The Cathedral is awe inspiring, we are overweight 60 year olds but still recommend climbing the towers and if you can do it closest to sunset you will not be disappointed. The Alcazar is maybe a 10 minute walk from The Cathedral and definitely worth some time, the views of the city from there are fabulous.
“Fabulous hotel in perfect location”
Absolutely LOVED this hotel for so many reasons. Excellent location with a few minutes walk to everything. Beautiful and charming, adapted from historic structure. We were in a deluxe room (401) with an outstanding view of the countryside, and bonus view of hot air balloons early in the morning. Room was quiet, great air con, huge and fabulous shower, comfy bed and wonderful linens, spacious, good lighting and seating. Staff very friendly and helpful with great English. We did not have breakfast so no comment on that.
