Rooms smelled like cigarette. Not sure if they assigned me a smoke allowed room but it was not comfortable for someone who don’t smoke.

I didn't like the LGBT celebration theme in the hotel during my stay

The room was a massive disappointment. We booked (and paid for) a "Superior Double", described on their website as "Our superior rooms are all about superior space, as well as superior comforts. Chill in an armchair by the window...". Well, there was one desk chair and only passing space between bed and window. I checked at reception that we had been allocated a Superior Double, and the assured me the had. An e-mail was sent with a link to "choose your room by navigating a floor plan of the hotel. This will allow you to select the room that perfectly suits your preferences..." - the link didn't work, apparently, we were told it often didn't.

Very noisy, we could listen even to the phone alarm ringing in the other rooms. Rooms walkway very noisy the whole time. Decoration was not pleasant

-mold in shower! -some towels had grey stains (Altough seemed clean still not what I expect in a hotel on a white towel) -cleaning service seemed to only make up bed and put down new towels if on the floor, wipe the sink and table and throw out trash (dust on the lights, coffee not refilled, mold still there, etc.). They also took away away a toilet role and didn't refill the one left, I had to call reception firdt thing in the morning and I had to wait t for over an hour for that toilet role to be delivered! -I had to work from the hotel, and the WiFi advertised being for free, couldn't even handle a bit of browsing or a Microsoft teams call - appearently there was premium WiFi at roughly 10 pounds a day. If I knew this beforehand I would have likely picked another hotel! -not a big issue for me but the room is a little rough around the edges - clearly used a lot as signs of wear -staff didn't explain anything when checking in like that there was a gym or where breakfast was or anything els- I've had to ask. . They also never asked how my stay was -altough sound from street can barely be heard, you can hear every single thing said on the corridor, plus I got woken up by the neighbors upstairs walking around in their heels at 12.30am
