To be improved
I’d like to share some honest feedback about our recent stay. At over €400 a night, we expected a certain level of comfort and hospitality—which unfortunately was not met. In fact, we ended up booking a stay at the Westin just a few minutes away, as the apartment was not suitable. We were told no refunds would be given, so we kept the apartment and turned over on the date, we emailed booking.com but only to receive a response the day after check out.
The person who handed us the keys arrived late, didn’t offer help with our bags, and rushed off—even after seeing I was pregnant, with an elderly mother and two young boys, having to carrying bags up a flight of stairs. Thankfully, the nanny I hired assisted, but the lack of support or offer was surprising.
No shampoo, conditioner, or soap were provided, which we would expect as a minimum at this price point.
Only one very thin towel per person was provided, more suitable for a kitchen than a bathroom.
The shower leaked significantly, and only one bathroom had a rug, making it slippery and unsafe.
The temperature display on the AC unit was bright enough to illuminate the whole room at night, disrupting sleep.
The master bedroom had two single blankets instead of a proper double, and the pillows looked like sofa cushions with odd covers.
he washing machine was located inside the master bedroom, with no separation or door between it and the bathroom, compromising both privacy and noise levels.
The neighbors had trash and old couches lying around and other trash on the ground floor, creating a very poor first impression.
We were told to park anywhere, only to be contradicted by the neighbors later, creating unnecessary tension.
A wall lamp in the master bedroom came loose and fell on my mom. This is not just an inconvenience—it was a hazard, we moved out the next day.
