“A great home base for an exploration of Toledo!”

The hosts were excellent and were responsive to any question or request. They booked taxis, helped give advice on restaurants and tours. The location could not have been better- quiet and central. Apartment was clean and comfortable and very tastefully decorated. There was everything you needed and more!

To be improved

The apartment is on the top floor without a lift but it isn’t difficult to manage and actually gives you A lovely vantage point.

“Delightful, Pristine, and Perfectly Located”

The best

This accommodation is an absolute gem. Located in a historic building that has been renovated, it offers authenticity and comfort and ease of access to both attractions and excellent restaurants - Taberna Botero is just around the corner - as is the cathedral which offers a spectacular view in the evenings. You are in the heart of Toledo and can feel the pulse of the town around you. It is expertly appointed. I do not imagine there is a better alternative and would not even bother trying to find one.

To be improved

Not a dislike but of note - there is no elevator. So beware if you are carting heavy luggage.

“Lovely apartment in an excellent location.”

The best

Great location. Beautifully renovated apartment close to the center of the old town. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great communication before our arrival, including suggestions for places to see and where to eat. Our host, Adriana was very friendly and nice. Adriana arranged for a taxi to take us to the Madrid airport. Felix, the taxi driver, arrived on time to pick us up. He was kind, polite, and a very good driver.

To be improved

We waited outside the apartment for almost 1/2 hour for the host to arrive with the keys. She seemed very stressed when she arrived and said her sister was supposed to meet us. It was challenging to carry luggage up three flights of very narrow stairs. We did not speak much Spanish, and communicating in person was difficult. The host was not at the property when our taxi (Felix) arrived to take us to the airport, even though we confirmed the night before when we were leaving. She sent a message that she was on her way, but we had already left with the taxi. One recommendation is to put a trashcan in the small bathroom for extra convenience.

Beautiful and very large flat for up to 4 persons. Around the corner from the cathedral and close to many restaurants. Staff was very helpful and made taxi reservation for us.

To be improved

The apartment is on the third floor with no elevator. That was not a huge problem for us, but it would have been helpful to know when we were making reservations.
