“Lovely Apartment with a Stunning View”

The best

Lovely apartment with stunning views over the pool and out to sea. It was nicely furnished with a thoughtful range of accessories (inc hairdryer, iron, pool towels, extra pillows, 3 full-length mirrors and a well lit bathroom mirror). The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains helped to get a good nights sleep. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped, including a toaster & kettle, and there were some really nice welcome touches, including a bottle of water, dishcloth, teatowel, washing up liquid, washing machine capsules, bin bags, bathroom soap & toilet rolls. There were also some condiments and oils (but think these had been left from previous occupants). The wifi was excellent and the tv was brilliant...it had all the english freeview channels, sky, sports channels and loads more choice. The complex is really lovely and well maintained, with 2 fabulous pools. The pool in front of the apartment was completely refurbished a few months ago, so everything was new and we had it practically all to ourselves for the whole week (end Apr/beg May). It was so peaceful (as predominantly residential & holiday apts) and the complex is very secure (as all access gates require keys). There is gated access directly onto the coastal path, with a 15min easy walk to Playa Bastian Beach and 30min walk into Costa Teguise centre/beaches. The owner, Diego, responded quickly to messages and provided comprehensive instructions for key collection and for the apartment. He was also very accommodating with a request we had. We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment and would definitely return without hesitation.

To be improved

Some of the fixtures & fittings within the apartment were a bit tired, but it didn't spoil our stay. There were also a few items of crockery missing in the kitchen, so would probably struggle if there were 4 people. We had a trip to Ikea to buy an extra wine glass and mug (as there was only 1 of each when we arrived). The sunbeds, although new, are quite uncomfortable (it would be a lovely touch if Diego bought a couple of cushions to leave in his apartment for guest use!)

It was clean and in a good position overlooking the pool. The shower was lovely.

To be improved

There was no kettle so we had to heat water in a saucepan for a cup of tea. The bed was quite uncomfortable.
