The location was described as good with beach access.
Overall the room is clean, as noted, though specific issues with noise were raised.
Pleasant surprise considering the hotel's 3-star rating.
Overall pleasant experience with some areas for improvement.
The rooftop bar and facilities were appreciated, though there was mention of some confusion.
Service was generally friendly, but some staff were perceived as dismissive.
“I love ibiza”
the room, the pool, balcony view
food could have been better, same with drinks, and air conditioning in the lobby
“Bergantin hotel”
Overall the room is clean, as mentioned there's no kettle in the room or fridge. This didnt really bother me personally. We booked all inclusive and the food etc was ok, I wouldn't say there was anything bad but nothing good either, there was one night In particular where I found the food to be fairly good. I found the multitude of cards that we were given on entry to be a little confusing and a lot to carry around ie tiny cards for cups and then different cards to eat along with the room key, plus wearing a band to say you was staying, I feel there are lots of better systems that could be used On the plus side the best part about the hotel was the bar on the 4th floor, the gentleman up there (think he was called Dave) was exceptional in his manner and really did make an effort to make it very pleasant coupled with the nice views I really enjoyed that part of the hotel. Last but not least I feel this hotel doesn't do anything particularly bad but nothing good either. Dont think I would book again if im honest.
“Lovely family holiday”
Stayed at the hotel during the first week of the October half term holiday. Really lovely family hotel, friendly staff and nice food. The snack bar was ideal for my fussy daughter who did struggle with the evening buffet, but we ensured she ate well during the day. Snack bar was all cooked fresh to order, hot dogs/pizzas/nuggets/burgers/toasties etc. The drinks were really nice with San Miguel on tap, and the children loved the mocktails. The location was good with the beach round the corner. We also visited Pizzaman and the Urban Lounge. Urban Lounge had a really nice vibe and very family friendly (they bought my daughter out a blanket when she felt cold). We caught very lucky with the weather and had 7 days of glorious sunshine. The sunset terrace was lovely, and the staff did let children up to look at the view, provided they didn't stay to long. Pool was freezing, but didn't bother the children either, and they were in all day. The only real downsides are that the accessible rooms (which one our party needed) was at the opposite end of the corridor to the lift which didn't really make sense, and the coach drop off is round the corner, which did prove difficult when in our party we had 3 young children and 2 adults with mobility problems. So the able bodied ones had to do a couple of trips with the cases. Considering the hotel is a 3* we didn't have much of an expectation, but we were pleasantly surprised. Would definitely return.
“Great hotel for its stars ignore the negative reviews”
After reading some of the reviews was very worried on what to expect but was relieved to arrive to a nice pleasant hotel. we got a private taxi from airport to hotel costing under £40 so cheaper than a transfer and quicker. Hotel check in was quick and staff super friendly! Food we found great and only reason for eating out was a night of fish which we don’t really eat. Rooms were clean and tidy and cleaned every day, fridge prob would have been handy but it’s not the end of the world. The all inclusive system is odd keeping your cup and returning when you want a drink but you can go up as many times as you wish. Eating hours were great and there is Leah’s a selection! pool was great (very cold) defo go for a jump off the side as walking in was tooo cold lol, always plenty of subbed and cleaned every morning, there’s also a snack bar and drinks next to the pool. Coming out the hotel turning right Walked down to taxi and went into the town which is a lot busier and cost 7 odd euros , plenty of shops bars and restaurants. We didn’t realise until tonight our last night there’s actually closer bars and shops opposite the hotel behind the mini golf course and a tapas steak restaurant also (wish we knew that before) Only downside or negative comment I can make is the entrtainment , if you have small children they will enjoy it but for us with a 15 year old the evenings were very Boring and nothing really to do! Would highly recommend Golden Buddha on the sunset strip (get a taxi it’s a long walk otherwise (about 40 minutes ) for a fantastic sunset not to be missed and food was great 😊
“Ibiza”
Very clean hotel food was good too room cleaning everyday clean towels etc ,staff at hotel all so nice and pleasant and welcoming only downside from the hotel was that the walls are like paper thin .can hear everything from next door and people coming down the corridors at night.had a nice time still and would recommend to families for a nice break
“Not terrible”
Arrived at Bergantín in mid october 2025. when we arrived the staff were great in accommodating accessibility accommodation for one person in our party which was very helpful. main hotel is clean and well put together. The rooms are basic and bathroom not too clean. No fridge which is okay but would have been preferred to be able to put snacks and bottled drinks in. Food was disappointing as there is only a small area for hot food (around 8-9 trays) with not much selection. Drinks service was great except for one member of staff who we found rude and impolite. Adults only pool great for peace and quiet apart from the smell from the drains which led us to move back to the family pool. Family pool was a good size with plenty of sun-beds which never got full throughout the day and no mad rush in the morning. Pool was freezing cold which meant we didn’t go in very much. It rained on 2 of the days we were there which was a disappointment as it but a stop to us relaxing and enjoying our holiday to its full extent. Shower in one of our rooms was broken and leaking water which took 2 days to get fixed. The water in both showers also frequently goes hot then cold which meant enjoying a nice shower was impossible. Toilet ran all night long which was also annoying. In a morning, other residents find it appropriate to shout and yell in the corridors and the walls and thin so this woke us all up every morning around 7:30am. Walls adjoining rooms also incredibly thin so could hear tv and talking late into the night and early morning. Floors too are thin so we heard furniture moving and children running around and screaming as early as 6:30am. Location around the hotel is okay but we had to go into main San An most nights as not much to offer. Tapeo restaurant just down the road was excellent though so would highly recommend for your visit. Overall would not say terrible but won’t be returning.
