The best

Well we have stayed here many times over the last 10+ years it was bearable but nothing special this time they tried to debit my card before we arrived and my bank declined it as their security was not accepted. I did email them and booking.com but no one replied so I cancelled as was lucky enough t find a much superior hotel very neat !!!!

“Disappointing Experience – Not Worth 4 Stars”

On the second day, the receptionist was kind enough to arrange a room change for us

Our stay started off terribly. The first night felt like something out of a horror movie. We were given a room on the basement level (-1), with a view of a fence and cars constantly passing right by our window. Every time someone used the toilet in the room above and flushed, it sounded like our room was flooding — and this went on for most of the night. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, with broken springs that made it feel like sleeping on the floor would have been a better option. The walls were so thin that we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. I asked the reception to change our room, especially since we had booked a standard room that was supposed to have a pool view — which it clearly didn’t. They told us we’d have to pay extra for a different room. I agreed to pay, but they said a change was only possible for the second night due to full occupancy. To their credit, they moved us to one of their best rooms the next night, free of charge. That room was much better, but the awful experience of the first night left a lasting impression. This hotel does not deserve its 4-star rating. Breakfast was very basic and not up to 4-star standards. The furniture in the rooms is outdated — something I’ve noticed in most hotels under the Senator brand. I travel frequently for work, and this is the first time I’ve felt compelled not to recommend a hotel. If you have other options, I strongly suggest choosing one of those instead.

“The whole hotel- rooms are really nice and clean · Cons: We arrived at the hotel really late and when I went to check-in the receptionist who was on shift was busy working on her computer. She asked me to wait which I agreed but after 10 minutes I had to ask her to check in as we were really tired coming from a long road trip. I would have appreciated that she is spontaneously proceeding with the check in.”
