The best

This was a self-catering holiday and the kitchen was adequate for our needs. There's a very impressive Mercadona nearby and a great bike rental service called "Rent Bike Playa Meloneras". Meloneras is a beautiful location and Faro beach is exceptional. The weather was superb and most of the restaurants are top notch. The Island tours are informative, cost effective and fun.

To be improved

Checking in and checking out process was very poor and needs to be changed. It was very inconvenient and costly for us on arrival to have to travel to another resort to pick up the key for our apartment/site gate. At departure, it was ridiculous to have to post the key through the side window and send the host a photo of the key on the floor and the window itself! We had then no key to exit the actual site as all entry gates were locked. One apartment/site key is not enough for four guests! Existing structural faults in the property itself are unacceptable.

The house itself was extremely clean. The kitchen was adequately stocked. It would have been nice to have had a few basics in the kitchen itself or the option of a welcome pack of maybe some bottled water, milk, tea etc - we would have been happy to pay extra for this. We arrived around 8pm and there isn't any shop near at that time of the night. The house is very spacious and it accommodates 4 adults easily.

Serious lack of towels. One large towel and one small towel per person. We were there for 4 nights so it was the bare minimum. There was only one pillow per person. Again, the option of more pillows is usual in any other apartment/houses that we have stayed in.
