Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife - All Inclusive

The room was very good, but the resort is very large and very busy. We went as a couple, and if we had known how many children were there, we would have stayed somewhere else.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they make you feel at home! Nice clean modern rooms. Many restaurants/bar areas have self-service which is very convenient (order a snack on the big screen like McDonalds's and pour yourself beer from the tap). A dedicated gluten-free corner in the restaurant (for those who need it).

We initially booked our stay at another hotel, which upon arrival unfortunately fell short on the standards we were comfortable with. At our own expense we decided to book into Fantasia to try and salvage our holiday, and to say it did would be an understatement. The hotel is immaculate, rooms are big and modern, staff are seen to be cleaning all public areas, poolsides and restaurants at all times. The layout of the hotel is beautiful and reminded me of Disneyland Paris, but I can say wholeheartedly it even exceeded the hotel we stayed at in Disneyland (and as someone who was dubious about going to Tenerife, says a lot). Staff were so friendly, attentive, hard working and made a huge effort to remember guests despite the occupancy. Bar tenders remembered our drinks and made my son feel special. Mo salah, Carlos and angel stood out to us. The entertainment and the food are what really impressed us, as a fussy eater and a vegetarian I was so surprised at the standard of the food and the variety. The entertainment was outstanding, live performances of dancing, singing and acrobatics captivated us every night. There were endless surprises despite us coming during term time and it was clear the hotel have re-invested their revenue back into the business to provide extra value to their customers (such as a bird handler coming during the day, or jugglers in main reception). Taxis arrived upon request within seconds outside the front door and it really felt like every eventuality had been thought through to ensure ease and a seamless, enjoyable holiday. What started out as an underwhelming, disappointing first impression of Tenerife turned into a magical, memorable, fun and happy experience thanks to Fantasia, and I have absolutely no regret on the extra expense as I feel it was worth every single penny.
