Once again, we had an amazing week at the Bahia Principe Sunlight Coral Playa hotel. This was our third stay here, and I truly hope we’ll keep coming back for many years to come. We always book a week in October, and I highly recommend this time of year if you prefer warm but not overly hot weather. The temperatures are usually around 25°C during the day and stay pleasantly mild at night, around 20°C. The sea is still beautifully warm after the summer, usually about 23°C — perfect for swimming! Another big advantage of coming in October is that there are no crowds, so it’s easy to relax and enjoy a peaceful holiday. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the beach, which is very important to me because I love the sea view from the balcony and the soothing sound of the waves. I definitely recommend paying a little extra for a room with a sea view — it’s absolutely worth it. The entire hotel is spotless, and the staff do an incredible job. They are always friendly, smiling, and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. We always choose the half-board option, which includes breakfast and dinner. The food is delicious, with a great variety of dishes, so everyone will find something they like. Thank you once again to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back again soon! Highly recommended to everyone!

Very good location and enjoyable atmosphere! Reception gave us a better room, so grateful for that! The view was incredible. Reccomend to visit!

I had the absolute best time here! The room was lovely and clean and all the staff I spoke to were kind and helpful. The food was nice and the pool area was always immaculate. I will definitely be back next year. Thank you all 😊

Only complaint really wa the parking ! You are not able to book in advance ? I wouldn’t consider staying again if I couldn’t reserve parking , it would be ok if they provided a sherper for the hill

People go on vacation to take a break from everyday life and work, to relax, and to have a good time. BUT;Unfortunately no music in the hotel! Reception no background music, poolside no music no activities all day, like usually in most of the hotels. They have no license for it.This is what the manager said. You are not allowed to use your own speaker even if you not disturb the people around you!!The whole hotel is sooo quiet! How you can see on the website, every room includes mini bar. The mini bar is a mini fridge with two bottles of water on the first day. That’s all! If would you like to use the safe in your room you need to pay for it.(3.5 euro a day )what was also surprise. Unfortunately was a lots of hair from the previous guest everywhere in the room. On the first day we had issue with the sower, the drain was blocked full with hair,receptionist sent the maintenance to fix it. On the fourth day we had again issue in the bathroom from top of the room on our ceiling it was a water leak which was from their toilet ,really bad smells. It’s happened evening 10:40. ( Receptionist offered to change the room) Morning no apologies or something just they updated our bracelet key for the new room.( A lots of ants in the room , pool side no one did anything about it) Wifi only works perfectly in lounge area, not in the room!! Quality of the food is really poor, specially dinner time!!! No basic drinks included with your dinner. They not offer for you the drinks menu ! Just they ask if would you like to order something to drink.( with the surprise price) The swimming pool was to cold all day no one was able to use it. The see side , the view from the balcony is amazing!!! We were very disappointed about the whole experience!!!
