Bajo Duplex para 7, al pie de Gran Via - E2

The duplex bajo is not kid friendly: The stairs to go downstairs are very difficult and danger. The smell downstairs in the basement is strong and humid, even with the humidifier it was very strong and I got allergies as soon I went downstairs. The air conditioning in the living room was liking and we have to put a bucket under and emptied couple times. The bathroom door is broken and hard to open and close. The couch was also broken. I let the owner or manager (not sure) know and he ask me for pictures. I sent all of them but I didn’t get any answer

It's totally inappropriate to stay with kids. The stairs of basement are really DANGEROUS. To stay in the basement is extremely risky, looks like the dust and even ROCKS are falling on the bed all the time. We came with 3 kids and found out that it's impossible to stay in this apartment. So we booked another one immediately and asked to give our money back. The company that manages the property refused. We sent the information to booking.com and didn't get any answer. So better just avoid this property.

Firstly it was dirty. Starting from ceiling finishing with the floor. Kitchen cabinets were dirty with trash in it. Random stuff under furniture, dirty floor tile in the bathroom, shower covered in all kind of mold, A/C was dripping water if it was on, walls in basement clearly had water damage, everything in there was moist and it was unable to stay there more than 5 minutes because mold smell is to strong. That smell is felt in whole apartament and we had headaches, and constant sneezing after staying longer in it. We tired to contact property owner to cancel the booking via phone, but all of our attempts from all of our phones were unsuccessful. His/her phone was off. Tried texting but no answer as well. Only way we did contact it was via online check in system. (All of the guest had to provide passport or ID’s picture with personal data and home address in it) we told that it was dirty and unlivable but we were called liars even though we have pictures.. Owner texted ONLY IN SPANISH. All information was privided in only spanish. Booking wasn’t much help ether because all they said is to wait for response from the owner. Another thing - keys to the apartament was in key box ATTACHED TO IT! So whoever knows or might get to know the code, can come to the apartament whenever they want. We experienced that with someone comming in to the apartament when we where changing clothes. Fortunetly it was a person that brought towels. There is no way to take the key with You. We were group of 4 girls and we did not feel safe sleeping or staying in it or leave Your stuff in it while You go and explore the city. We had a rented car so we took our stuff every time we went out form it. Outside the apartment is under the construction and there were bags full of trash, random people coming and digging through them. All in all we DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE AND AVOID IT ALL COST! Save Your money, energy and health and look for something else.
