The town of Moclin was stunning. We had a roof terrace to view the castle and mountains which didn't disappoint. The house was well appointed. Just for information and not in any way a complaint we did miss good sized wine glasses and the use of a kettle would have been nice. Not having theses did not detract from our stay. There was on entry to the house a strong odour of cleaning products that eventually disappeared. We found the town very quiet and there were not many places to eat or drink. shopping was to be done from the next small town only a few minutes drive away. Again not a problem.

Would have liked a chopping board, bread knife and kettle, would have appreciated welcome milk on arrival for a coffee - didn’t understand the necessity of bringing own food as options locally were so limited - also was now my aware of just how lively the bar next door was until midnight - these are not criticisms just potentially food for thought

The best

The location next to a beautiful newly painted town hall, square and restaurant, the incredible town, clean streets, amazing historical ruins and superb church and best of all the unrivalled views of the Sierra Nevada and amazing walking route La Golitzno passing through an incredible gorge, caves of doves, cave paintings and waterfalls and rivers. This is also close to Granada and still only an 1hr to the sea! It is a great town and well presented and comfortable house and parking is super easy, at the door.

“Beautiful house in stunning location.”

The best

Set in the centre of the plaza between a small shop/tabac and a bar in the beautiful town of Moclin. Host was easy to contact via the app and very helpful and we would have loved to have met her in person. House was very clean and presentable. There are sitting areas between the bedrooms on each floor and a lovely front terrace partly covered on the ground floor where one can sit and watch the world go by. Locals are extremely friendly, walks fabulous and a couple of supermarkets can be found 20 minutes away by car for supplies.

To be improved

Would have preferred air-con in the bedrooms rather than fans and upper terrace is not really accessible due to very steep steps but overall really enjoyed our stay.

“Great Livley Location”

The best

Great location if you like being amongst the throng of life , right next to a lively bar if you fancy food and drink … felt the kitchen lacked basic equipment such as a kettle, baking trays for oven and knives .
