Ballestar Hotel Bar & Grill

I was driving in the area for over two hours at night with my whole family in the car NOT able to find the hotel. I called the property serval times until one guy answered and told me. Here is the code to enter ur room.. I try to explain to him I can not find the hotel. He said it’s ok. Here the code to enter ur room.. I needed up reserving an other hotel at 2:30am to put my family to rest after 8 hours driving

This facility is not (just) a hotel but a nursing home! We booked this facility about 45 minutes from Madrid because it is on the road. As soon as we arrived we realized that something was wrong: the reception was closed and in disuse (transformed into a storage) despite it was supposed to be open 24/7, a waitress from the restaurant on the ground floor checked us in, but so far it was ok. Once we went up to the room we started to hear terrible, continuous screams, coming from a person with mental conditions (also the staff went up to check). Unfortunately, the night did not go any better: the screams could be heard until 2. Not to mention the morning: woken up at 9 by the loud music of the health workers, to the sound of "open your mouth wide and swallow the pill". In the corridor, while we were going down to have breakfast, we actually met some of the patients with the medical staff too. Let me be clear, I have nothing against nursing homes BUT IT IS NECESSARY TO NOTIFY IN A TRANSPARENT WAY THAT IT IS NOT JUST A HOTEL BUT AN EXTENDED CARE FACILITY. Last interesting detail: when we entered the room, one of the ceiling panels was lifted and moved (we could see what was above). That ceiling is in common with the other rooms, which is why you can hear EVERYTHING that happens, and why we stayed awake all night. I travel often and everywhere, and something like this has never, ever happened.
