“An experience but not one we would particularly repeat”

Beautiful setting with a History Excellent Food Able to park the car directly outside room which was directly opposite the Spa Room had constant air con which was essential

To be improved

Reception was very hard to locate upon arrival- no obvious guidance signs Very spread out site with lots of steps Swimming pool very deep with small shallow area for non confident swimmers Spa was okay and obviously aimed towards elderly Spanish but non English speaking Staff was a drawback and we felt we didn’t get to enjoy the full facilities

“Very Enjoyable”

Great location. The food was wonderful. Very fresh and healthy. Plenty of choice. The dining areas are clean, tidy, and the restaurant staff were very helpful and pleasant. Only thing I would comment on is that there wasn't any type of order in the buffet, as people just leaned over, and didn't join the queue.

To be improved

Reception. so slow. It took approx 20 minutes to check in, and even then the room wasn't ready, after I had paid, I still had to wait 30 minutes for the keys to my room. After a tiring drive, waiting just under an hour to freshen up or to rest is not acceptable. Same again on checking out. So slow, 20 minutes to check out. 2 staff available, and neither of them had a smile. They seemed to spend more time looking at the computer screen than communicating with the client. Is it a new computer system? as both checking in and out were the worst part of my stay.

Beautiful secluded location, quiet, clean air. Near beautiful mountainous area full of hikes. Large thermal bath was nice to hang out in, although they only let us use it for 45 minutes and then kicked everyone out.

To be improved

Very utilitarian, not a luxury facility by any means. Feels more like a hospital or convalescent home. Way overpriced. €135 for two massages at a 3-star facility when I can get a 60m couples massage + private jacuzzi for €160 at 5-star Parador Valencia. Restaurant served a buffet very similar to a high school cafeteria. Hotel room felt like a basic university dormitory and was minuscule. Geriatric clientele (98% of the clients) gave us weird looks the whole time because we are a generation younger.
