We were declared no-show because we were two hours late to check in—as foreign travel is often unpredictable. We arrived at 10 pm rather than 8 pm, which was our planned arrival time. The manager was upset because he had tried to reach out on the day of our travel and my phone was offline in the afternoon. They left us without a room, scrambling to find lodging after our arrival. In addition, they booked as as a no-show and we received neither the room nor a refund. The manager informed us that this was not a hotel, in which case perhaps it should not be listed. In a city and country where people are seated to dinner at 10pm, surely they can have a desk attendant until midnight.

I was first impressed by the quality of this building (the entrance door & gate, the marble flooring throughout, the high ceilings) and furnishings/linens. The location is on a quiet side street in the middle of everything. The gay aesthetic & amenities were another plus. The host also made nice recommendations for good food.

To be improved

Only the construction that was going on next door as they expand the amenities (adding a sauna). By the time I left, I believe the noisiest work had been completed.
