I loved the view from my room. The room was comfy and clean and breakfast was tasty and varied.

To be improved

Transportation of luggage can be a hustle, but they’ll arrange a golf kart to pick it up if arranged before arrival.

“Exceptional Stay at a Historic Golf Course”

The best

The location is incredible - perched on a volcanic crater rim with Spain’s oldest golf course right there, offering stunning views everywhere you look. Staff were really helpful, room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was surprisingly good. The golf course is perfectly maintained and the peaceful setting away from crowds made it ideal for relaxing. Already planning to come back - exactly what I was hoping for in a golf getaway.

To be improved

I could not arrive to the door of the hotel by car as the dirt road leading up to the hotel had been closed due to heavy rain a couple months earlier. Still, from the Golf clubs parking lot, its about a 3 min walk.

“Exceptionally clean, nice big balcony · Cons: Not much soundproofing, wasn’t sure whether to communicate via WhatsApp (as originally requested) or booking.com (where I eventually found a response to my question after checking out). I also read the information in the room about golf club attire which stated a “collared shirt” was required. I drove into town and bought a collared shirt, only to be told at reception I needed a polo shirt. Massive disappointment and totally ruined my trip.”

“The stairs are very steep so I don’t recommend staying if you’re not in good health.”

The house keeper was very friendly and the communication was good

To be improved

Very little choice for breakfast. The second morning they had ran out of Brad, cereal honey etc. so unfortunately we went home hungry.

The noise from the golf maintenance was horrifying. Avoid room 5 under any circumstances.
