Barceló Corralejo Bay - Adults Only

This is by far the best hotel in Fuerteventura. The staff go the extra mile to ensure that the guests have the best possible holiday. The cuisine is top notch and you will always find something that you will thoroughly enjoy. The rooms are kept well serviced and have all the necessary amenities. The Guest Experience Manager Leah puts her heart and soul into making sure that you have no issues with your stay. My wife and I have been coming back to this hotel for years and absolutely love how caring the staff are. I’m often very confused by the occasional bad review and can only put that down to individuals that would never be happy with anything. How could you find fault with a great hotel, centrally located to all that corralejo offers and with professional hard working staff that are a credit to the General Manager and the Barcelo brand. My wife and I say give this hotel a try and you will not be dissatisfied not disappointed. There is a great fully equipped gym, a couple of lovely pools in a well manicured garden and for those occasional overcast days a wonderful spa. What more could you want?

The hotel is in an excellent location for the beach ,bars , restaurants and shops. The supermarket is only a short walk and well stocked. We found the staff friendly as well as professional. It is also walkable to the local market held on a Sunday and Thursday. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable and well maintained. The bedroom was a decent size and the bathroom too with a nice double shower. The mini fridge was also useful. We didn't pick a room with a sea or pool view but it was still pleasant and quiet to sit with a glass of wine. Breakfast was excellent and so much choice. Eggs freshly cooked. The hotel stated food not to be taken out of the restaurant but a few disregarded this and you could see guests taking out a handful of bananas .The evening meal was nice. The only criticism was a lack of hot vegetables to go with the main course. The pool area was good with a one heated pool and one not also a jacuzzi and another shallow pool to cool off. As usual the same few queuing at 9 am to grab their sun beds. There is no need for this. The pool bar was very pleasant serving snacks . In the evening there was nightly entertainment at 9pm from singing to acrobatics which we enjoyed if we didn't fancy going out. A very nice hotel all round and we would stay again or anther Barcelo hotel. We booked via Jet2 and it made the travelling easy with lots of staff. Through the rep we booked the wine tating afternoon was throughly enjoyable.

This was a good move staying here, we had bed and breakfast and it was a relaxing environment even though there is quite a lot of tables, couldn’t fault the food lots of choice, we didn’t go all inclusive and it would of been an extra £1100 for the 3 of us and this was definitely a good move as when we settled up we thought it would be much more We had a suite with a jacuzzi which was good, tv is a bit of a pain, they supply razors and toothbrushes and fresh towels every day and little chocolates every day The bar can get busy but that is because the staff really put the effort in to making the cocktails which everyone seems to be drinking, one thing I would change is the pint glasses as they are the old looking ones from the 70s which look naff The evening entertainment was good and there was also some live musicians around the pool, we only went in the heated pool which was great All the staff really are good and I could not fault anything The location of the hotel can not be beaten as you can go down the beach or the bars and shops or the port no problem We had a car which is 7€ a night to park but we paid for 2 nights and then put it in the back street of the hotel as there was loads of spots and Corralejo is very safe no trouble, There are no kids in this hotel so the age group of the people seem much older for obvious reasons I would definitely stay here again

Had an issue with our suite when we arrived, 1129. This is located at the north side of the hotel and on the ground floor. For a suite and the cost of our stay this room was not adequate, poor terrace layout and no sun at all. We were moved to 2216 second floor at the other side of the hotel. Much better and more modern. The manager and all the staff are great, and the service team do a very good job. The hotel is well located with a short walk into the town. Food is ok nothing special

Booked via Jet2, arrived and welcomed by the front desk, checked into room 1202. Room very nice, large room and bed, bathroom good size as well, balcony overlooking the bar area and pools at the far end. Breakfast and Dinner very good, lots of choice and chefs available to make omelettes for breakfast and cook off your meats for dinner. As it is a buffet we got there early and the food was a good temperature. Cleaners were great, Bar staff excellent in the pool bar and entertainment area on an evening. We took the free spa option every morning at 9.30am which was nice, lady on the desk very helpful and welcoming. All the grounds were well kept, and the beach is probably a 5-7 minute walk, the main street similar distance. Entertainment was very good as was the painting and clay modelling classes As you can tell we loved the Barcelo BUT there were a minor few issues that seemed “petty” There is a 3 euro charge per day for the safe which is unnecessary for such a good hotel, either give it for free or put the price of the room up, trying to upsell for 20 Euros just annoyed me …. Didn’t seem able to cast to TV but to be honest didn’t ask reception for assistance Not sure if this will become the norm for hotels but there was a printed sheet in the bathroom which stated if the bathroom had a bath (which we didn’t) they had already removed the plug to save on water consumption, what is the next stage only allowing the shower to work for 4 minutes ….. Still gets 5 stars from us because almost everything was perfect, more importantly staff were really really good.

Stayed at this hotel for a week end of March, very relaxing, quiet week away. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality hotel for a comfortable break. Spa well worth a visit also!
