“Short but sweet and a great place to sleep at night.”

We picked it because of the close proximity to my husband’s hotel. He was there for work and we tagged along, so we had to find our own accommodation. It had free wifi and air conditioning. It was comfortable enough for the four of us for what we needed. The washing machine was a jive addition - we only used it once but if we were there longer, I would have gotten a lot of use out of it. Also, really good water pressure!

To be improved

Nothing really. However, if I were in Barcelona for more than a few days, I might not pick it. It only has beds and dining room chairs. It has no sitting area like I am used to in a vacation rental. For a longer stay, we would have spent a little more time in the unit, and lounging on beds isn’t ideal.

“Average but does the job.”

The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning was good (and necessary), and plenty of space. The location is ok, depending on what you're doing. The staff did look after us to make sure we could check-in in the early hours of the morning. The room did come equipped with everything you need. The bed was comfortable, but not very clean. There was dirt and hair in our bed upon arrival.

To be improved

The bathroom is very old and mouldy, the general cleanliness of the apartment was average and we had heaps of noise from other residents into the early morning, the walls are very thin, I ended up going up stairs to ask the neighbours to be quiet at 2 am in the morning. The bed is positioned under a window (there's a blank wall it could be positioned against) which has a curtain hanging in your face while trying to sleep. The room has a mouldy smell which was covered up by air fresheners plugged into the wall sockets. There's lots of noise from other guests/residents passing by the door. The biggest frustration was the shower handle. The shower itself is very small, and the style of the handle for the hot water is easily knocked to the full hot position. I was burnt by hot water several times.

Location was great! Close to metro and bus stop. Few stops to beach. Staff was friendly. Price was OK. Comfortable beds. I liked locker by app.

To be improved

No shelves in cabinet. Lack of light, quite dark because windows are only to the indoor space. Noisy AC. Small problems with washing machine but willigness to fix it! Would be nice to buy new loundry dryer.
