Barcelona Style Beach Apartment

- The owner is so rude and asked for extra money (to be sent by Paypal) just an hour before our check-in to give us the code for the keys, so I was forced to pay. - The property details mentioned is not accurate, as there was only one very old A/C without a remote, so the house is literally without air conditioning, the thing that pushed us to sleep with open windows were we got beaten by mosquitoes. - The location is pretty bad, you will need a mean of transport for everything, and nothing near to go to by foot. - The electricity went down for an hour and the owner told me that it is normal to happen in Barcelona, just before we figure out that the issue was with the apartment, while the whole building was having no issue. - The house is missing electric plugs and the TV was the smallest I've ever seen, so don't rely on what you read on the listing, as it is pretty misleading. - The owner asked for €64 as city tax for 2 nights, while she didn't show any proof that this amount is really paid as taxes. ....... AND HERE COMES THE WORST PART! As my family was preparing for the check-out, the owner broke in the house with two other housekeepers asking for an immediate leave at 11AM, and as my wife was dealing with the baby with fever, she took a bit more than 11AM to get ready, the owner called the police like crazy and forced my wife to get her luggage out of the apartment and didn't even allow her to give the medicine to the baby, at the time I arrived at 11h20m, the police was there and they understood our point, and they knew that the owner was just making troubles for nothing, and they even offered thankfully taking the baby to the hospital as he was badly ill at that moment. In conclusion, you may not have as horrible experience as we did in our stay in this apartment, but I'd definitely recommend to stay away from this property if you wish to enjoy your stay in Barcelona.
