The shower and toilet facilities flooding everyday

Rooms were dirty, fag burns everywhere, stunk of cannabis, people in and out all night doing drugs, asked reception to ask others not to smoke cannabis as we had young children and was coming straight into our room from a vent but never went to speak to them.

The AC in our room didn’t work The walls were dirty and the floor when we came. It was not possible to use kettle because the electricity went off… The sofa bed is old and not comfortable for anybody, our 6 years old was sleeping there and it was making loud noise when he was moving during the night. It should say somewhere that the pool is really small for all the apartments on this hotel and few bench to lay on there. And there was no running hot water the last two day’s.

The sofa bed was covered in stains what hadn't been removed,I had to go to reception 3 times to tell them we had no hot water for a day and a half,they were not at all interested,found the staff rude,

I was really disappointed with my stay at ALEGRIA Barranco. The hotel does not match the photos at all — it feels very worn out and poorly maintained. The walls were dirty, and the room layout was strange and uncomfortable. The pool looks nothing like the pictures online and was honestly unappealing. The street the hotel is on isn’t very clean either, which adds to the overall negative impression. One of the biggest issues was the lack of a proper luggage storage room. They just have an open space in the lobby with no door or security — anyone could walk in and access your things, and the hotel takes no responsibility. Also, be aware there’s a €150 deposit required at check-in. It’s technically mentioned in the fine print, but it’s not clear or visible enough. Something that important should be shown clearly and up front before booking. For the price, I expected much better. Would not stay here again.
