“Good vibes, good value”
A B&B with the vibe of a pilgrim hostel on the Camino de Santiago. Very warm and helpful host. I appreciated the 'Greek muses and goddesses' theme on the decor. The small pool is a nice place to cool off on a hot day. Solid Spanish breakfast included. Cozy place, good value for money. I would be happy to return.
The bathroom, though private, is accessed through the hallway, which is a bit of an inconvenience. The ventilation in my exterior room was only so-so. The only window was at ground level opening directly onto the foot traffic of the street, so I had to keep the blind lowered at all times for privacy. There is a wash basis for washing clothes, but no proper clothes line for hanging them: you can drape a couple pieces over a rather dusty fence around the pool, but this is a bit awkward.
“Exceptional”
“A basic, overnight stay with breakfast. Not expensive so ok”
A bit basic, but clean. The lady we dealt with was helpful
It was all closed up when we arrived (daytime) and it took a while to get hold of anyone to let us in
“Very nice B & B, close to the RENFE station and not far from the historic area; very friendly host.”
The owner, Imaculata (“Ima”) was an amazing host, regaling us with stories of the history of Sagunto and recommending places to visit and eat (in Spanish). The guest house is small (only 5 rooms), and although our bathroom was not immediately in our room, there was a screen that essentially separated off a whole area with bathroom, sitting area (with fussball game and garden/pool view)…yes, there is a small swimming pool on the property!) All was clean and pleasant. Breakfast (juice, cheese, ham, rolls/tomate/olive oil, coffee and pastries) included without extra charge. Wine, beer, etc. for purchase during other hours.
No complaints.
“Have stayed here on many occasions and would do so again.”
Very comfortable room complete with balcony. The room was made up each day. The house is spotlessly clean. Very nice patron who served up a simple but excellent continental breakfast each moring - a different treat each day.
WC and shower are dedicated for your sole use. They are not en-suite but are adjacent.
“An excellent choice for a short stay.”
Very friendly and comfortable. It’s in a traditional building in the middle of the city but it’s quiet and they serve a very good breakfast
Traffic and parking is a challenge but that is pretty standard (had to park at the railway station, a 5 minute walk)
