Toilet open to bedroom, no problem for us but could be an issue for some others

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The hosts are rigid, arrogant, and focused on control, not hospitality. We were bombarded with absurd rules: short showers, windows must stay open, limited air con… all enforced with no flexibility or care for guest comfort. In a whole week, towels were never changed, and beds never made. On April 28, there was a major power outage affecting much of Europe — a critical and stressful situation for us as foreigners, left with no electricity, no internet, no GPS, and no way to withdraw money or cook. Despite seeing we were exhausted and hungry, they charged us for a salad they had said would be offered. No price lists were displayed; we only knew drink prices because they told us at check-in. Clothes are also sold on-site — cash only, like everything else. Breakfast had only “healthy” options (fruit, yogurt, whole grain bread), and €1.50 for a basic machine coffee. If you expect variety (eggs, bacon), forget it. Worst of all: it’s impossible to have breakfast alone because Frank finds it “unthinkable” due to his extreme stress levels, making the experience awkward. We asked to stay an extra night; they promised a better price than on Booking but charged €105 (more expensive). When we raised concerns calmly, they interrupted us, raised their voices, and treated us with arrogance. Frank even asked my age sarcastically, trying to discredit us. Totally disrespectful. They also spoke in their own language in front of us, making us feel excluded and unsafe. No card payments are accepted (cash only), and they implied it was to avoid taxes. The view is nice, but the place is very remote, with an unpaved, unlit access road and everything 40 min to 1 hour by car.

No food or drink at the property policy, no fridge available for guests, no free or cold drinking water in 36 degrees heat, no shop at walking distance. We were not allowed to bring any food or drink from the shop, we had to buy everything from their honesty bar
