WELL, I MISSED THE DEADLINE OF ONE OF MY REVIEWS. SO THERE IS ONLY TWO REVIEWS. I HAD LOADS MORE TO TELL. BUT I WILL TELL THE WORST CRIME THAT HAPPENED OVER THERE.
There is this lady seated in the only seat in the common space, working all day. Very racist. She verbally and almost physically attacked me for trying to leave the door closed. Everyone arriving must enter with the code, but residents open the door for anyone. Three times, while I was explaining this to guests, she would get up, call me stupid in front of them, and open the door. The naked, very drunk guest entered because she opened it.
There were six residents drinking late at night. Yes, they arrive from work, drink until late. Some don’t even shower. Imagine the smell.
One of these residents was a Black girl. A mobile disappeared (later found somewhere). Immediately, she was accused. In Brazil, those people would be arrested. This would go viral online. They woke her up. I’ll stop here. This was a very serious crime. They are all offenders. The girl is so in need of racial education that she doesn’t realize what she went through.
Next day, they grouped against me. I called them racists — and she was there drinking with them. Some guests saw it and offered to report it. Still, for the sake of the hostel, I said no.
I still haven’t had time to send it to Black Lives Matter or Black movements in Brazil. But this crime will go viral. Believe me.

For many days previous to that I was sending messages to the owner that I need to talk to him and he never had time. I was exhausted I just wanted to tell him that I couldnt cope with this people anymore, And it was ignored

4. Dangerous Guest with a Knife and Homophobia
One guest got drunk and, after learning another guest was gay, pulled out a large knife and ran after him. The terrified victim arrived shaking and was put in my room by the owner, who told me to look after him and then left. We were two women and this poor man, locked inside, while the aggressor stayed in another room. No police were called, and the man was not expelled.
After that, the victim refused to leave the room unless we checked the coast was clear — and the aggressor kept drinking with the front door wide open.
A few nights later, that same man peed in a room and threatened others. Only then was he finally removed. When I asked the owner about the knife, he said: “I threw it away.” So we never even knew if it was gone.
5. Barefoot Guest
One morning, a guest woke me up barefoot — another resident, still drunk, had taken his shoes by mistake and went out. I was shaking inside but stayed calm. I called the owner many times, but he didn’t answer — it was 9 a.m. The guest followed me, barefoot and upset, as he had to leave. I had to step outside to figure out what to do. In the end, he left wearing an old pair of flip-flops.
To make matters worse, this guest was a man from Palestine working in Spain, on his only week of holiday — just one night with us. Later, the owner got annoyed that I had called him. His reply? “¿Qué puedo hacer?” — the same phrase he always uses in the comments and used to me when a problem happens.
I have never seen the owner in the hostel without a can of beer for him and the residents. He asked me to help him look after the hotel, but he was the first to break rules with the residents. I would try to talk to him — the answer: “No pasa nada”, “¿Qué puedo hacer?”
There are sooo many stories to write, it won’t fit here. Yes, according to his reply to my first review, I’m lying, making it all up. I should win an Oscar for best screenwriter — only reality writes situations like this.
