Beach Matucana Apartment by Hello Homes Sitges

The apartment is promoted with air conditioning which is not true. There is one A/C unit in the living room but it cannot provide for all 3 rooms and not if doors are closed. There are fans in the rooms but they are noisy and not as efficient. There are no reading lamps , the bathroom had several issues ( drainage innefective , doors not closing properly). As it is on the groundfloor , it is very noisy , 2 m from the bedroom windows there are some local shops including bike deliveries. Parking is a nightmare , not less than 10 min walk for the nearest spot. They are charging for 300 euro deposit but this is tricky as there are several small problems that have to be carefully checked in order to avoid any discussions.

Drainage of hower is slow. Need a bit of maintenance. Ac just in the living room, would be better to add 1 in the room

I stayed here last year and enjoyed my stay. This year not as much. A few issues during my 10 nights and when you pay 2200 Euro you expect a great experience. They owner did not want to address any issues or offer any compensation for my negative experiences. 1. Toilet paper roll holder was off on the floor and I told them about it and they didn’t fix it. I ended up getting it fixed myself by the end of my stay. 2. I tripped in the hallway in front of the unit and got my shot caught on a metal edge that was sticking out. It could have hurt me and it ripped my shoe open. 3. The metal blinds in the small room were broken and wouldn’t fully close so sun was coming in the morning. 4. A huge cockroach was found in the small room. Crawling on my friend on the bed as he slept. It was almost 3 inches big and caused a bad nights sleep. They property manager said they would let the owner know. Thanks!
