Beachfront Apartment Sivella by Sealand Villas

A heated towel rail in the bathroom would be helpful for drying towels and keeping the bathroom warm. There is no lift to this apartment. Plenty of cutlery/plates although pots could do with upgrade as well as mugs and a selection of baking trays etc.. plenty of glasses. The pillows were thin and unsupportive, they could do with some ‘hotel’ quality pillows.

Beware of the really late check- in time of 17:00 pm and if you want an early check-in they charge you for an additional day even though you have already paid for that day when booking the apartment out. The property was unbearably cold and everything was damp e.g. bedding and damp furniture. There was mould in the bedrooms near the windows because it was really damp and cold. The site states it offers air conditioning however you cannot change the temperature. It has a thermostat but only blows out cold air. We stayed for 10 nights and because of this we got an additional clean from the cleaners. We contacted them and they confirmed the date. However they did not turn up on the day and when we contacted the cleaners we got no response. Overall, I would not stay in the apartment again and would advise people to avoid booking this apartment in winter especially.

The evenings in November were chilly. Some form of heating definitely necessary. Unable to lock patio doors. Dishwasher needed updating and fitted properly into the units.

First Night we didnt have warm blankets (November), but we got some from our host.
