BEACHFRONT PENTHOUSE by VV Canary Ocean Homes

Location was beautiful-right by the sea in a quiet residential area about 15min walk into Él Medano. There are a couple of restaurants next to the accommodation-can thoroughly recommend the pizza place but they all looked good. Stunning sea views and beautiful sunrise each morning. A very well facilitated apartment with everything we needed. Note there is no nearby supermarket so we did an online shop prior to arrival via the Mercadona app-can thoroughly recommend that as they deliver straight to the apartment. There is plane departure noise from early morning to late at night but we knew that prior to booking and we didn’t mind as actually the rooftop balcony makes for some great plane spotting during the day as well as the amazing views. Él Médano itself is a beautiful little town about a 15min walk away and is typically Spanish with no hoards of tourists-just perfect for us. Lovely little bars and restaurants and chic boutique shops-has a very bohemian feel. We only ate there once at Hong Kong Chinese and fantastic food and service with a beachfront view. A wonderful stay and would love to return someday. Can also recommend Trusted Taxis Tenerife for a taxi transfer and they can also organise tours-we just for the one to the stargazing at Mt Teide and they use the guys at ‘Night Skies Tenerife’ and again we can recommend. Overall Claudia was very attentive to my messages and getting back to me asap with any questions.

Location suited us as wanted it to be quiet. The nearest mini market wasn’t suitable for self catering & had groceries delivered from Mercadona which worked fine. The fridge/ freezer is a good size & the washing machine worked, powder provided but only a few pegs. Had a couple of trips out using the buses from the centre. The cafe bars below closed at a reasonable time so quiet at night. The gardens & pool are well maintained.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Wonderful views of the sea and mountains, gorgeous beach literally 50m away and two great bars/cafes and an excellent pizza restaurant very close by. A beautiful walk along the beach into El Medano ( 20 minutes or so), with its amazing beaches, superb surf, fantastic walks and excellent range of cafes, restaurants and shops. Apartment was clean and well equipped, with fantastically comfy beds! Great balcony and roof terrace, beautifully landscaped and maintained pool area and a reliable lift ( very welcome when bringing in shopping!). Claudia met us and was very helpful and patient after we arrived late.

Cozy apartment. Nice host. Super facilities - swimming pool, paddle ball court, kids playground. Beach towels etc were provided. Proximity to the beach. Smart tv and complete home appliances available.

We wanted a place to stay that wasn’t in a lively area of Tenerife and this was perfect! A great apartment with all you need in the apartment. Great views from both balconies of the sea and loved watching everyone doing the water sports . Yes the planes fly over but you only have to look at where you are staying to know it’s near the airport and it didn’t bother us . The host Claudia could not do enough to help , kept in contact to check we were happy. Would definitely choose this place again .
