Beautiful 2 beds-near coast with pool & balcony

The air conditioning of the apartment did not work. The host, Sofia, said that this problem has been there for over a year (coming and going), to the extent that she even bought an "emergency portable AC", which you can see in the pictures, in the kitchen, above the washing machine. As a result, either you sleep in the kitchen, or you will have no AC during your sleep. When I wrote to Sofia she replied promptly, and seemed genuinely sorry. But she does not seem to be based in Spain (her number is from the UK). She put me in contact with the "Manager", but this man speaks no English and no Spanish - nor Italian, German, French... For what I understood, he only speaks Hungarian. I spoke with his son: a kid who can speak some basic Spanish. I was told that they cannot come to fix the AC, and "I must go there" (and they said the name of some village/barrio). The whole conversation was surreal: why should I go to them, if a device of the apartment is broken? Anyway, the real problem is a language barrier. The Manager can only send texts, probably because he uses some translator on his mobile. Basically, if you have a problem, no one will be able to help you... Unless Sofia finds a new manager who is able to speak English/Spanish. There were some other smaller problems in the apartment, but we decided to give it up, because it would just waste our time. Because we stayed less than 48 hours, we decided that it was more practical to coexist with the problems.

It was lovely, and would definitely stay again. Be mindful that this area can be hilly and the property has steps to access (Most do in this area).
