Beautiful apartment at La Marquesa Golf Quesada

Nothing. Great place to stay

The property on arrival smelled of cooking fat and a very strong smell of smoke. The people who met us with keys had air con on and all on doors open to probably mask the smell. The bedding in the bedrooms and the towels had a very strong smell of smoke on them. We had to wash them the following day when the supermarket opened to buy the washing powder. The cutlery drawer had bits of food inside of it and black bits in it. The glass shower cubicle had black mould-like residue which had not seemed to have been cleaned for quite a while . This was also on the tiles in the shower. Again I had to buy cleaning products to clean this off ourselves. There were food crumbs on the floor and when the person we met had pulled the fridge out to plug it in food pieces came onto the floor which must have been behind the fridge. The roof and terrace had not been cleaned and cushions were left out and were soaking wet and couldn't use them until we had dried them off. Corner sofa was broken in places so we had to be careful where we sat. There was no umbrella to shade from the sun. My husband went to get one out and all of the inserts just fell to the floor. We had to clean the small bar area as there were greasy food marks on worktops. The dishcloth that was left looked like it had washed multiple floors and was a dark tea colour this was folded up and left on the sink for us to use. To summarize the apartment was in a nice area and in a good location. I had to spend money and time from my holiday on cleaning and cleaning products so we were able to start our holiday. The start of the holiday was very disappointing. Would have been nice to have had some cleaning products in the flat. Neighbours over the road are really shouty and noisy until late at night Photos taken if needed

Not enough kitchen utensils (knives for chopping) and mugs. Fridge initially took a while to chill.

The heating had obviously been off for a period of time and the property was very cold and took almost two of the days we were there to warm up
