The best

A cute attic apartment in a great location, in the middle of a bustling shopping street in central Madrid. Very comfortable for one person.

To be improved

A coffee machine but no coffee. A washing machine but no washing powder. Awful toiletries. Broken bedside table, collapsed on the floor by the bed. Small grievances that I wouldn't have bothered to mention if it wasn't for the fact I had NO internet throughout my 7-day stay. Owner was told immediately. No one was sent to look at it until day 6. Not a proper technician either, just someone who works for the caretaker and all he did was try the modem and say: it doesn't work. There should have been a partial refund or some other gesture to attempt to make up for the inconvenience—not to mention the cost, being in Madrid for work and having to spend €75 on local SIM cards because there was no wifi. I have a rental property in Italy and cannot imagine allowing this situation to take place.
