“Outstanding Villa Amber”

The villa was spotlessly clean, and the decor was amazing . The beds were super comfortable, and pillows were as well. There is plenty of room and storage space in bedrooms . The ensuites are large as well. The kitchen is a wonderful space to all be able to get together and cook a meal. Lovely cutlery and crockery and kitchen necessities. The dining area inside and out is perfect. The outside area has a lush green lawn around. Comfortable sun beds and garden furniture. The pool was beautiful, we swum every day. The water temperature was perfect for us. A perfect stay for friends and families with children. The downstairs has a bedroom with ensuite , plus a games room . There is a slope down to bottom room, which is perfect for wheelchair or pram access to sleep downstairs. Maria, the host, was amazing. Check-in was explained and easy to follow. Maria went far and beyond to make our stay pleasurable We spent 10 nights at Villa Amber and didn't want to come home. We will certainly return .

Perfect for our family holiday , clean tidy and the downstairs area is amazing for the kids to play if they need a break from the sun , the pool is a great size and the outside are is amazing ,

“Excellent Villa in a good location. Would return.”

Large clean comfortable Villa. Large outside space. Pictures on website do not do it justice. Good location to the Old Town. Main strip is walkable, downhill takes 20 minutes. Returned most nights by Taxi as had small children. Only cost 5 euro.

To be improved

If I am going to be hypercritical I would say the sunbeds could be slightly uncomfortable and could do with upgrading.

“Good service and nice big house. It was ok, but this place needs some attention. Not quite worth the money.”

The best

The property was large and comfortable in a reasonable location albeit on a steep hill to town. The staff were very nice and very responsive to any requests or queries we made. The pool was a good size for our needs and there some nice small touches like detergent and other things left for us that we’d normally have to buy. They left a bottle of wine and some biscuits as a welcome gift on arrival. The beds were comfortable and the towels were really nice. The place was spacious and generally comfortable.

To be improved

The property needs a bit of attention in areas that are easy to address. It is showing signs of wear and tear. Several items were broken like indoor and outdoor chairs. The clothes drying rack had snapped. The TV had to be restarted every day as it froze constantly. The door on the dishwasher needs replacing. The skirtings in the utility room had suffered water damage and needed replacement. The pool umbrella was not suitable for the windy conditions and basically disintegrated. The grass in the garden area was scorched and it looked like wasteland. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit dusty and needed a deeper clean or vacuuming. These things took the shine off what was a good sized family villa in a good location.
