“Spacious but tired villa”

The best

The space, space to spread out and relax. The provision of games: pool table, petanque pitch, table tennis, pool area. Beds and sofas comfy. Views. Quite location, but not far from town.

To be improved

Lack of working heaters, so was very cold. Some of the electrics were very dodgy and sparked if trying to use. No welcome pack, was promised decaf coffee by owners, so when arrived in evening after flight had to find supermarket in order to have a drink. No instructions or helpful hints (had a recycling rubbish bin, so just guessed what went in).

There were a lot of cockroaches, very big. You couldn't even stay outside because they would climb on you. In 2 rooms, the air conditioning didn't work and we hardly slept at all! Someone worked on Saturday and Sunday and all the dust came towards us and he was making a lot of noise! He took more cash from us when we arrived, apart from what I paid on booking, telling me that I had only booked for 2 people, not 6. But I had made the reservation for 6 people and 1 child. I gave up to want non-refundable, as otherwise the reservation was canceled when he told me on the phone that I had to pay another €175. What was very good, the pool because it was very hot and the barbacoa. As well as the people who gave us the key .On the phone, it seems that I spoke with the owner of the house.
