Belgravia Club Apartment Estepona

The main information e mail on how to enter the property went to junk & not my main e mail. The previous e mails said someone will meet you at the property, no one did. The apartment was at the very bottom of the development with only one slope for access the rest stairs, which were quite steep were an issue when it came to moving luggage.Outside the apartment the vegetation was quite overgrown on the stairwell and the post for the metal handrail seemed to limit access somewhat, especially when moving suitcases. There was no instruction leaflet on how anything worked at the property it was trial & error, although the contact said there had been one. The first evening we noticed the toilet was leaking when flushed, making it hazardous when walking on the bathroom floor. The safe appeared not to be usable, after contact we were told we had to use the key, something that was not initially obvious as there was a digital keypad on the outside and an instruction book for this on the inside, perhaps the batteries had run out? The door marked ‘private’ to the service area of the apartment was open when we arrived and could not be closed. Camilo who came to check the toilet said the door was broken. Outside the main living area a scenic view of the sea was obscured by overgrown vegetation. Only one bedside lamp worked as there was no plug socket for the second. Aesthetically, lovely, practically no use at all in a double bed configuration. The ceiling fans only worked when the lights were switched on which was impractical as you had to have the light on for the fan to work & therefore no use if needed when sleeping (maybe with an instruction book this would have been different.) The modern large screen tv did not seem to cater generally for English speaking people. The rules of the urbanization stated ‘no towels to reserve sunbeds,’ they would be removed.

The swimming pool was advertised as open during our stay. I normally wouldnt mind but our two little girls were incredibly excited and walked round there with swimmers and arm bands on only to find a pool totally empty of water and that was clearly undergoing some kind of construction or maintenance(bricks missing etc)
