Bell Lloc Girona high-end design apartment

The view! Or rather totally lack of a view. With a tall office builidng less than 10m from your windows and looking out in a narrow alley, you see no sunlight at any time of the day. So, the apartment was dark and required us to turn the light on even while the sun was shining. The alley was home to multiple homeless people. They didn't do bother us at all but the smell from the alley was not pleasant and it was not comfortable to stand and look out of the windows. The apartment should be booked only when cooling is essential and not during winter with rain and cloudy weather. The view should be seen in the light of the relative high price in compare to other accomodations.

The accommodation is tastefully decorated however there was no welcome pack as to where & what day recycling is. If you are good with technology then you will be fine with the appliances as no instructions here. We could not use the washing machine due to excessive black mould. Day 4 a cleaner was suppose to arrive at the agreed time, wet but they did not show! He arrived next day & promptly said the mould was bad beyond cleaning & took photos. Nothing heard from letting agency. Eventually they replied & said they would replace but that would be after we had left the property. Vacations are meant to be restful, & a recharging special time so hand washing, wringing out clothes & trying to dry was not on my itinerary initially. Thankfully I always pack a travel clothes line as the dryer was not working. No instructions here either, it transpires that a water catcher tray had to be emptied as it was full! The accommodation is adjacent to a very narrow ally way Travessia L’Auriga frequented nightly by men. Loud voices, noises & music will not let you rest or sleep until 2am. This first floor accommodation is not worth the money for the stress you will experience from the noise & smells under your window every single night. The tenants above will be active from 7am so sleep is limited to 5 hours approximately. Advice do not stay here as total rip off!!! We have previously stayed in basic accommodation in Girona which was more restful with working appliances.
