Belle Marivent Mediterranean Petit Hotel

My mum and I enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at this hotel. We stayed in a junior suite with patio - the space was perfect for our needs. When we arrived the staff had put up balloons in our room and left a bottle of prosecco on ice with two glasses, to celebrate my mum's birthday. The bed is described as 'double' but it was much larger than a standard UK double bed. The staff really were exceptional. Friendly, helpful and happy to help with any requests. We visited the beach and went into Palma using either a bus or Uber. Uber varied between €11 up to €26 - depending on price surges. The staff offered to book taxis - which we did use to get to the airport on the way back. This was €35 cash or card. The Uber from Palma airport to the hotel was €26. The bus was €2 and the bus stop was conveniently located outside the hotel. The breakfast was more or less next door (the hotel is too small to fit in a restaurant currently) but the breakfast was delightful! The walk to the beach was around 5 minutes and the staff will provide beach towels. The beach was lovely and the location of the hotel means you have a lovely balance between beach and city. The lady, who was working in the evenings when we stayed, was so helpful providing tips on where to visit in Palma. We tried bar Abaco at her recommendation - which was an experience! The hotel was very clean, tastefully decorated and the lobby smelled amazing. The rooftop pool has a honesty bar and it was really pleasant to spend time up there as the sun was setting. A small beer was €3- payment was at the end of your stay. In the lobby there is a tea and coffee corner. We used this a few times - in the morning there are pastries and cookies as well as drinks available. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and we are already eyeing up a visit for another time. Fabulous experience: great location, friendly helpful staff, beautiful rooms and great value!

Very clean and tidy. Comfy beds and a fantastic team looking after you. This place is great. It is small but if you are looking for somewhere to have as a base and then get out and about then this place is perfect. Theres a bus stop just outside which means you can get around really easily. Pablo was fantastic and really helped us so much while we stayed. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed so thank you so much! The only thing it didnt have was an iron but I think they did have a laundry service. We stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect for us. You can take a short 5 min walk into Cala Major and get to the beach and some lovely resturants (check out Scratch!) or take a longer walk past all the boats in the marina to Palma and take a look around the cathedral and more resturants. I didn't check out the roof bar but we stayed out of season so cant comment on that. And there was hardly any noise from the road once the door was shut. We will definitely be back, thanks again!!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - they went above and beyond to make our anniversary very special!!! The hotel was in a lovely location, 5 minutes from the beach and a 15 mins bus ride from central palma. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel. the rooftop area was peaceful, clean and enjoyable. we had a lovely time!!

We stayed for 7 nights at the Belle Marivent in a Junior Suite (with balcony) on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is a modern new build (2023) designed to utilise every inch of space within its small footprint. This was reflected in the suite layout, which comprised a bedroom with a separate shower and toilet opening directly into the room itself (not so much an en-suite, more of a room with a loo). There was also a well equipped lounge area joined via a short aisle, which included a sink unit and main wardrobe. We had no problems adjusting to the layout and found that it worked quite well, the only observation was that as a typical new build the quality of fit and finish was less than perfect in places. We would echo the comments of others regarding the location being handy for either walking to Cala Major beach or jumping on the bus (No 4) to Palma. We thought the Coffee Corner next to reception was a nice touch and used it most days for a croissant and a drink on our return after a day out. We didn’t use the rooftop splash pool or loungers during our stay preferring to go to the beach instead. The only inconvenience was the arrangement for breakfast as the hotel outsources this to a local restaurant (Restaurante Porto Zulema) which is a couple of doors up from the hotel. You simply tell them you’re from the hotel, quote your room number and you’ll be given a separate hotel menu. There are no prices on the menu and you can choose what you want. While the restaurant staff were very friendly and spoke fairly good English we found that what you get varies from day to day e.g. choose two eggs on artisan country bread one day and receive exactly what your ordered, order the same thing next day and you might get one egg on a toasted baguette!) That said we found the food to be well cooked and if you fancied something that wasn’t on the menu they would try their best to make it for you. We just think it would be more convenient for guests if the hotel utilised its own fully functioning restaurant in the basement for breakfast, rather than just opening it up on an evening. The thing that did stand out during our stay however was the warmth and friendliness of every staff member in the hotel. They all work exceptionally hard and demonstrate a genuine willingness to help make your stay a pleasant and memorable one. If we were simply reviewing the staff it would be a resounding 5/5 but we really feel that a four star hotel should have all amenities on site, hence 4/5.

What a gem. Small boutique style hotel with great rooms and excellent service. Special shout to Gabriella who was a real help with getting around the local area and giving excellent restaurant recommendations! There is a restaurant downstairs (El Sotano) but we didn't try it (looked nice though). Fantastic roof terrace with a small plunge pool and an honesty bar for drinks etc. there is a bus stop outside the hotel that goes to Palma in one direction and a fantastic beach at Illetes in the other. We would absolutely recommend and are hoping to go back for another visit very soon.
