Benalbeach Beach Front Apartment

Liked everything. What’s important here is that I am reviewing the accommodation I stayed in, not benal beach as a resort. Frequent travellers will know it is a massive place that gets mixed reviews. I couldn’t fault the accommodation I stayed in. As a note to future travellers , luggage storage is available ( 5 euro for three cases, that’s ok) I pointed out to the rental company that the poor signage had me looking round longer than I ought. It isn’t a luggage room like you’d expect, it’s the hardware store (DIGI on the front door)

Apartment smelled like cigarettes. Old and nasty furniture. We stayed mostly on the balcony because of the view and the smell inside the apartment. It was super super noisy since its facing the boulevard ( all night you can hear cars honking and people yelling), but you had to scarifies the noise for the wonderful sea view. Pool - old and not much maintained. After 14h it becomes gross like a swamp ..... Corridors in the hotel felt like we are in 1980s - Not maintained, ugly interior , empty facilities and most importantly - Absolutely no directions whatsoever ! You need few days to get used to know the way for the Pool, Supermarket, Exit .... Please put some signs !! Everyday we were loosing 10 minutes in trying to figure out where we need to go.
