“Great studio in a good location not far from the beach”

The best

Host was very friendly and helpful, the apartment was very clean and well equipped. The location was near local amenities and good transportation links. With sea views and view over Benalmadena, it has a balcony with great views and sunny in the afternoon. Would recommend

Ideal size for 2 people and location was good

The swimming pool was closed and we had to share the other pool with the 2 other apartment blocks which was crammed packed

Property is clean , quite modern , everything you’d need for a stay & the host always available via WhatsApp should you need anything/ or queries & the night concierge staff always letting on when coming in..infact one of them recommended a pizza takeaway generally used by locals

To be improved

Nothing really - everything was spot on . As it’s quite hilly (something I already knew about ) & you struggle with walking I’d hire a mobility scooter if booking

“Lovely clean well equipped apartment”

Great location. 15 minute walk from benalmadena train station. Very clean apartment, great facilities for self catering. Fab powerful shower. Mini safe, iron, ironing board, washing machine. 5th floor with sun on balcony late afternoon. Great communication from owner. Very kindly let me check in early. Even had shower gel, hand-wash, washing up liquid etc.

The pool wasn't open. Not the owner's fault as it is seasonal and I went in February.

“Bonanza Square Plaza only a few mins away with supermarkets, bars and restaurants a plenty.”

Host provided clear instructions via message to collect keys from a reception desk, however as this is a private apartment building block, this was a concierge for residents rather than a reception/check in desk therefore they knew little of our stay and language barrier was an issue for us as we do not speak spanish. Apartment was good and clean and lovely views only down side was afternoon sun for a few hours and can be very windy (5th floor) Supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants only a few mins away in Bonanza Square Plaza and surrounding area. The best breakfast and hospitality at Katie McGanns Irish Bar and plenty of choice options for takeaway food all cuisines catered for in other local eateries A local bus stop nearly by to Beach/Marina and Torremolinos/Malaga/Fuengirola and taxi stance nearby or walk down to seafront area quite hilly so would advise taxi back up for around 6 to 8 euros.

Lifts to apartments are on a lower level from reception area accessible by a few steps or a wheelchair lift down instead of the steps - this was fine but could only be operated from the outside and not by the wheelchair user - could not determine if this was a fault as no assistance/guidance on using this due to the language barrier. As a wheelchair user this meant I could not go in or out on my own. Whilst a good location and apartment building access having a ramp for a wheelchair or mobility scooter user the street area was poorly lit and very precarious pavements and slim pathways with obstacles such as trees and bollards to navigate through, also lots of roadworks in progress but much needed to the area when complete. Shop around for best deals in local supermarkets - some smaller ones overpriced for items such as can of fizzy drinks etc costing as much as the bars!!
