Benalmarina

I apologize for the delay in writing this review, but thankfully Booking.com has still given me the opportunity to share my experience. I would have regretted it deeply if I missed the chance to express my gratitude. During our visit to Granada in early January 2024, we arrived late in the evening by train and contacted the property owner to inform them of our late arrival. The owner, who was very kind, spoke fluent Spanish, which I unfortunately don’t speak well. However, the owner didn't give up and kindly connected me with her daughter, Martita/Martha. Since it was late and the owner knew it would be difficult for us to navigate uphill, Martita/Martha informed us that her father would pick us up at the bus stop. Even though we mistakenly got off at the wrong stop (as tourists often do!), the owner patiently found us and drove us to the property. Despite a bit of confusion on our part and getting off at the wrong stop, the owner patiently came to find us at our "lost" location and took us to the accommodation. His warm welcome immediately made us feel at home. When we finally arrived, even though it was late, we were extremely satisfied. The property was spotless, with two bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, washing machine, and a balcony. It felt so homey and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to check out early the next morning after breakfast, as we were heading to visit Castillo the Monument. It was a bit drizzly, but the walk from the accommodation to the monument wasn't too far, and the view along the way was absolutely beautiful. The downhill journey was not too tiring either. If I ever return to Granada, I would definitely stay at Benalmarina again. Thank you to the owners for their warm hospitality and excellent service. They are truly a wonderful family, full of kindness and hospitality.

There is Aldy shop nearby walking distance, which was handy. We had a warm welcome to apartment with bottle of wine left for us on the table which was very nice. Pool is lovley and very good size, there is bus stop just outside from apartment which takes you to sea side the number you can take is 103.

Apartment too old. She needs to update kitchen. No wine glasses or enough utensils to cook.

We arrived at the agreed time and waited outside the gates for 10 minutes and then called on the mobile. The key holder was in the property but it wasn't explained. The property had lots of nice little touches, water, biscuits, tea and coffee, kitchen rolls. Great beds and very friendly people to meet and greet.
