The best

We spent five days in this vacation home and had a very good experience. The house has three floors, is very clean, and well-equipped, with access to Wi-Fi and an excellent location – very close to the port and restaurants, and the area is quite peaceful. Additionally, it takes about 17 minutes to walk to the beach, which is very convenient. The kitchen included a capsule coffee machine, a washing machine, a dishwasher, several pots, and pans. Unfortunately, the pots and pans were very old, and I think they could be replaced.

To be improved

It took some effort to contact and find out how to collect the key. We only got Yolanda's contact information after calling the main contact number on Booking. Only then were we directed to her. You cannot drive up to the house; you have to park at the port, which is 850 meters away. This is not a big problem, but this information should have been included in the listing. Entering the zone where the house is located risks a 200 € fine. Since we spent time there with children and had a lot of things, we had to request permission to unload. To do this, you have to follow certain rules, such as entering the zone before 12:00 or obtaining a special permit. I believe this information should be included in the listing to avoid extra costs. Yolanda also arranges such permits, but unfortunately, she does not inform you about this herself, and you have to ask about everything. She is quite peculiar, not very responsive, and it was a bit awkward communicating with her – perhaps due to language barriers (we don’t speak much Spanish, and no Basque at all). The downside was also the very late check-in time, which starts at 6pm!!, and unfortunately early check-in was not possible. Additionally, check-out time is 11am. This made our stay a bit less convenient.
