“pleasant and quiet ground floor apartment”
The best

Pleasant and fairly quiet ground floor apartment in a cule de sac with a public parking at the end (so there is some coming and going in the mornings and evenings but otherwise it's quiet), the apartment has blinds, the bed is large and comfortable, the kitchen utensils enough to prepare fried eggs, there is a nespresso machine and a fridge.

To be improved

we didn't sleep well the first night since an alarm kept sounding, after reporting that to the landlord they changed the batteries in the automated door lock; the shower's unfrosted glass walls face the bed (and another unfrosted glass door connects to the loo), nothing for the prudes (or anyone travelling with mother/auntie) but couples might enjoy themselves, in addition there are two connected showers next to each other (friends of friends report that this might be common in gogo bars), again some might enjoy that more than others.

“Well equipped studio”
The best

It's in a quiet neighborhood. The studio was small but well equipped. Everything looked brand-new, the oven, the fridge, and stove, etc. Close to a metro station and bus stops. Many supermarkets nearby.

To be improved

The bathroom is really small.

The best

Very CLEAN! Everything was so organized in the kitchen. Very near the metro. About 20 mins away from the old city in Madrid. Alot of asian esp. Filipino restaurants and stores nearby.

-very close to the metro -supermarkets in the vicinity -clean -two pillows per person -Spanish and Latinoamerican restaurants nearby -AC

To be improved

-the kitchen could use a sharper knife -we didn't manage to close the bathroom window -a dish drainer/rack would be helpful in the kitchen to keep the counters dry after washing up
