Big Central Barcelona Flat - 4BR for 7

We spent 1 week with our familiy in the appartment and think the price is much too high for the quality of the appartment. For that price level you can get better values in Barcelona (we stay there twice a year and this is the first time I write a negative review). It is a pitty, because with a little maintenance the appartment would be great. Following things did not work when we arrived: In 2 rooms the window shutters were blocked and have been replaced by curtains (still very bright in the room), the air conditioning was very noisy and cannot be used at night as the external unit on the balcony is vibrating. In one of the 2 bathrooms the window was not closing and in the other bathroom the door was not working well. The handles in 3 rooms kept felling down when using the door as the screews were missing, the washing machine has a big hole but is still working, the knob of the dish washer kept falling of when using it. One of the bed was not very stable and had to be assembled properly. we called the agencey who sent someone for some small repairs but normaly this should have been done before. In any case the appartement needs some more heavy maintenance. We also were surprised of the small equipment of the kitchen: only very few cuttlery and glasses. no wine glasses (we ended up buying ourselves) and we did not even have one water glass per person (we also bought some so now there are). The appartement was fairly clean on arrival but not sparkling. the Lady from the agency who gave us the keys was very nice and supportive.
