“Quirky, beautiful but needs improving”
A beautiful, quirky hotel in a stunning position where I had a lovely few days break. We were lucky the weather was also stunning. There are lots of positives but also room for improvement Positives Gorgeous position with fabulous views Attractive, quirky decor Close to the port but beware of lots of steps down Lovely pool and great sunbeds. Comfortable, hard beds and black out curtains - I slept really well. Adults only and attracts a nice mix of guests Some staff are very friendly Drinks are pretty good and lovely bar for pre dinner drinks Shower room you can book for late flights etc To be improved Terrible check in at reception I.e. no greeting, no warmth, smiles or information. We were quite shocked. Surely it’s normal to say ‘Welcome to…’. In general the service at reception was really mixed - didn’t feel proactive. Lunch menu is limited. Prices are pretty toppy. Limited storage in rooms and bathrooms - a shelf in the bathroom would be great. We brought in a stool from the bedroom. Some chairs looked great but weren’t comfy e.g. on the balcony. Overall though, I’m planning a return visit as I had a tremendous time but please sort out your reception.
“Loved it and will be back!”
Loved it! The most amazing view ever. Had room 424 which was top floor on level with reception, bar and restaurant. Room was good, hard bed (ne t time will ask for a topper). Drinking water was very limited due to general water shortage. Steps were hard as also a steep hill before the step climb. Taxi was 8 euros to the Port (only used on a day where it was torrential rain). Breakfast, reception and pool bar staff (and food and drink) were brilliant however the rooftop bar was terrible service. Infact twice we sat for so long we gave up and just concentrated on drinks on the Port which was a shame. Saying that we loved this hotel and will definitely return next year hopefully.
“Very disappointing”
Extremely poor customer service. Lovely location, nice view of harbour, good breakfast.Customer service non existent. In fact we felt unwelcome with only negative messages on arrival. No parking, no room service( water shortages) . Help with bags , Paid for an upgrade didn’t happen. Decor, like my grandchild’s day care.or Cony island? Love not war… that was in the 60’s? Ver disappointed.
“Excellent Spa”
Excellent Spa on site with very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good hotel decor. Excellent breakfast. 15min walk down to the port.
“Perfect Couples’ Getaway Chilled and Beautiful!”
Port de Sóller is absolutely stunning it is the perfect mix of natural beauty and relaxed vibes. The food was sensational, making every meal a highlight of our trip. Bikini Beach is pure hippy heaven, so chilled and laid-back, the perfect spot to unwind. The yoga class was exceptional inspiring practice. Three nights here felt just right, and we left completely refreshed. Highly recommend for couples looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape! We can’t wait to go back sometime soon
“Lovely hotel with outstanding views”
Me and my family stayed here for eight nights during August. We had two rooms located near to each other. We opted for the ground floor pool view rooms as we had read sun beds were sparse. This was really great as our teenage children used the area outside their room a lot. Me and my husband opted to spend time round the pool and didn’t have any problems securing a sunbed. It’s busy but there was always space. The pool area was beautiful and the pool bar and service fantastic - a slightly limited menu but the food was excellent quality. The actual rooms were very nice and as expected. The little extras such as having a water bottle to use and refill during the stay were a nice addition. There was also a beach bag, sun hat, suncream and beack towels to use. The rooms were cleaned to a good standard each day. There was a slight damp/drainage smell in our bathroom but the bathroom did feel clean. The commual areas were nice. The breakfast was fantastic. There was a really large selection of top quality food. The staff at breakfast were so friendly and the coffee was excellent! Me and my daughter visited the donkey bar, which was nice, but the service was incredibly slow as lots of people use it before going to dinner at the hotel restaurant. Our only slight disappontment was our welcome to the hotel. We arrived fairly late woth our teenage children who are 15 and 18 joined us. As soon as we started to check in, the receptionists first words was that it was an over 14s hotel and did we know. Our children both look over 14 and this just made them feel uncomfortable. We confirmed we did know and confirmed their ages. This had a knock on effect as my 15 year old son felt a bit uncomfortable, and wouldn’t use the pool for the first two days. We reassured him there were other teenagers (which there was) and he settled, but I do feel this could have been handled a bit better. Overall we had an amazing time at the hotel and enjoyed our stay. The views were out of this world and the location, with the steps down to the port, was excellent.
