Bilbao Old Town II by Aston Rentals

Hallway had a terrible smell. Noise from bar underneath until early hours although it was Europa League Football final so not sure what it would be like on a normal evening. Cost expensive but again, price increased due to football final.

The bed area is on a raised step, this could do with a strip light as with the dark floor it is very hard to see at night. It can be pretty noisy at night.

The lack of natural light was a surprise. Even with all window shutters open and the bedroom door slid fully back, it was a bit gloomy without lights on, even in the middle of the day. It was also quite noisy, given the proximity to several bars on Barrenkale which stayed open until after midnight on most nights. This created a lively atmosphere, and wasn't a big problem for my son and I (both sound sleepers), but would not be ideal for visitors expecting total peace and quiet after dark.

The noise, from the internal stairs, from the echo of the doors of other apartments banging closed. The street noise, till 5-6am at least 4 nights a week. Bring ear plugs. The musty smell in the entrance and stairwell.

The location of the property was extremely noisy. The windows were not appropriately sound proof to block out any street noise. Internal shutters also didn't close properly. Property located on one ot the busiest late night streets in the area.Dangerous step around the bed which was a constant trip hazard
