“Passable”
Good location, stylish apartment, everything for living is there. But there is one big But! Cockroaches! And the most unpleasant thing is that after sending the photo to the Landlord, not only did he do nothing, he did not even answer.
“Stunning apartment overlooking the beach & port.”
The apartment was very modern, and well finished. The rooms & beds were excellent, and the apartment had everything you might need for your stay. The large TV had every channel you could ask for, a prefer end to a long day in the sun.
The elevator was been replaced when we stayed there back in March, I presume that’s been addressed since, the climb up the 8 floors was hard, especially with shopping, baggage on arrival.
“Attention : the lift isn't working and the apartment is on the 5th floor!!”
Upon seeing my large suitcase, the man who met me outside the apartment to do the check-in asked me if I had been informed that the lift wasn't working and was surprised when I said that this hadn't been communicated or indicated on booking.com. It turned out that a new lift was being installed since last November of which the parts occupy most of the entrance inside the block! A serious danger and fire hazard. My friend and I are in our mid-60's. My friend was recovering from a serious knee injury and I have arthritis so we particularly chose an apartment with a lift without even knowing that the flat is on the 5th floor. It is a must even if it was on the 1st floor. On top of that we discovered after eating out on the first night that there was no light in the stairway due to the lift work so we had to walk up five flights of stairs in the dark! After lugging up five flights of stairs our luggage and groceries, we decided that enough was enough and I put in a complaint to booking.com. The letting agency managing this apartment was surprised to learn that the lift wasn't in operation! We asked to move to another place but they had nothing available. After several exchanges and me sending them photos of the situation, the agency offered to reimburse us a 15 per cent reimbursement. It is fair to say that they apologised profusely on several occasions but at the end of the day they are responsible for this lack of communication. It is a flat that without a lift is totally unsuitable for families with young children, elderly people or anyone with health issues and this should have been clearly indicated on booking.com about the lift problem. After having complained we noticed that a notice appeared in the entrance to inform residents that the lift work was delayed and that it would be another two months before the lift was operational. I have great doubts about this. Light appeared 24/24 in the stairway but a few days later was no longer on.
See above The insulation is not great and there is a noisy tenant upstairs. For the agency: the Nespresso coffee machine needs replacing as impossible to use due to the absence of the on/off button. The lead of the shower just under the head is leaking and needs replacing. A blind on the balcony is permanently closed and cannot be opened as the joints are all rusty. This obstructs the wonderful sea view
“Great 2 bed flat - badly run agency”
We were initially greeted by Dave, who was very welcoming and showed us round the apartment. What a great apartment it is to - perfectly situated with stunning views of the sea. Behind a good secure gate. With lift access. There is everything you need for a great holiday. The washing machine is a huge bonus as you can cut down on your luggage. You will also need to wash the towels they provide you with. Note that you pay for 1 clean of the flat - once you leave. So do not expect any bedchange or clean whilst you are there - no matter how long you are in for.
The agency that runs this lovely flat is so hard to get hold of!! I messaged them for 4 days, asking them for an extra pillow for each person. The pillows provided are impossibly thin and gave us all neck ache. When they eventually replied on day 4, they said that they would charge me for every extra pillow & That it was a 25min drive to the premises and they didn't know when they could bring them either... really bad service (the call themselves elite too). The towels are also really thin.

“Nice apartment but issues need resolving”
The location is good- 2 minutes to the sea and 10mins to the main town of Los Cristianos. The pool and complex was very clean, the balcony view was nice and the apartment was mostly very modern. The beds were comfy and the wifi and tv were excellent.
There is no air conditioning and the two fans were very weak- I would not stay here again in the summer months. The couch was in terrible condition, literally falling apart- material came off on your hand at the slightest touch- it was disgraceful. I even contacted the company when we were staying there and they said another one was ordered, but this seems to be an issue for other customers for a long time. The other issue common in previous reviews was the drain blockage in the shower- before our arrival we were told this was fixed, however that was not the case and the shower tray flooded within 2 mins of use each time. It was very frustrating.
