Very nice hotel with a beautiful pool and a nice restaurant. Super restful to stay for one night there in the middle of a camino full of municipal albergues

The location is a couple km away from the city so you’re kind of stuck there if you don’t want to walk anymore

The hotel is not actually in Navia but a nearby suburb, opposite a car saleroom and rough, disused car park. It is smart in appearance, with a lovely garden. However the garden is effectively unusable by hotel guests - there is no seating available. A terrace overlooking it has sun umbrellas but these were firmly done up during our stay (in June!) with no seats or tables by them. A narrow terrace was open for bar customers but this was alongside the road overlooking the car salesroom and disused car park!! Again, there was a terrace outside the breakfast room with tables and chairs, but these were all stacked up and the doors to it closed. Very odd, presumably the hotel does not wish to clean these areas so guests are not welcome there. On arrival 2 receptionists took a long time to log all our details into the computer system but no information was given about the spa or the pool. There was no signage to either. Others have commented on the offensive smells coming from (presumably) the kitchen.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff speaks fluent English, which is a big plus in this region.
